Founded in 1953, Rib Mountain Bowmen (RMB), is one of Wisconsin's Northern most archery clubs. Nestled in the wooded hills just Northwest of Wausau. RMB is a 501C3 non-profit organization that strives to foster, encourage, and assist all people interested in archery, with a special emphasis on the area's youth, people with disabilities, and military veterans.
The goal of the club is to develop and create a spirit of good fellowship in all archers by providing facilities for practice and proficiency as well as encouraging the use of archery for harvesting legal game species. With the amazing comradery and access to the ranges 24 hours a day 7 days a week, RMB members can expect to expand their archery family and their love for the sport.
The facility sits on 40 wooded acres and consists of the following:
RMB members invest many hours supporting the surrounding community and maintaining the club's building and grounds.
RMB hosts multiple shoots and clinics annually where the club, provides all equipment needed and club members providing personal assistance and training. Examples include the following:
All Club members are welcome to join any of the leagues RMB has to offer. Not only are they a great way to practice the sport but you will gain and maintain friendships with other wonderful individuals that love the sport as well. Leagues are open to archers of all ages and skill levels. With a vast diversity of archers, our members regularly seek assistance from other members within the club.
Monthly newsletter called the Bowbunk, sent out by email or available online shortly after the board meeting, held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm. All RMB members are welcome and encouraged to attend the board meetings.
