Rib Mountain Bowmen is deeply committed to community involvement and outreach through various shoots, clinics, and fund-raising events each year. The club provides all necessary equipment, with dedicated members offering personal assistance and coaching to ensure everyone has a positive experience. In 2024 alone, over 1,464 participants took part in RMB-hosted or sponsored events, underscoring our broad reach and impact.

We are proud to have donated 100% of the proceeds from several key events, including:

  • $7,300 raised for Arrowing Down Cancer
  • $7,500 raised for Honor Flight – HHAUSA Mission 33

Our outreach extends to local schools, youth groups, and other community organizations. Examples include:

  • 23 John Muir Middle School students
  • 64 families from the Rural Virtual Academy (RVA)
  • 6 local Alternative High School students
  • 9 Girl Scout members
  • 34 Boy Scouts across two events
  • 16 participants in our "Badges & Bullseyes" event, which partners with local law enforcement and social services

We also extend our support to local and regional events, such as:

  • Youth Heritage Days at Wausau School Forest with 188 student shooters
  • The Sports Show at the Patriot Center with 116 youth shooters
  • Lincoln County Sportsman Club event with 48 participants

Additionally, we support statewide and regional archery events, such as:

  • The Badger State Games, with 136 participants (Winter & Summer)
  • The National Field Archery Sectional Tournament (2-day event)
  • The Wisconsin 2023 Rendezvous, where we opened our facility to the Back Country Hunters & Anglers for a two-day event
  • The Venture 450 Crew, with 20 members joining us for a day at our facility

Each event allows us to introduce new participants to archery, raise funds for important causes, and create positive experiences for all involved.
