Badger State Winter Games 2027: Archery

Competition schedule

• ‍Friday, January 15: 300 round flights at 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM‍
• Saturday, January 16: 300 round flights at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:30 PM‍
• Sunday, January 17: Indoor 3D, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (walk-on)

Each 300 round flight holds 17 shooters and fills first come, first served. Lanes are assigned on site at the time of the event. Foam bunkers are now available in the indoor range.

Divisions and eligibility

There are six age divisions, with separate men's and women's divisions in each. Age is determined as of January 15, 2027.

• 12 & Under – Cadet
• 13–15 – Junior
• 16–17 – Young Adult
• 18–54 – Adult
• 55–64 – Sub Senior
• 65 & Over – Super Senior

Shooting styles

• Fingers: Freestyle, Traditional, Barebow, Bowhunter, and Olympic
• Release: Freestyle and Bowhunter

Registration and fees

• Registration opens: November 1, 2026
• Registration deadline: At the start of the event
• Entry fee: $30 for your first event and $20 for each additional event, including events on a different day
• Online registration: Pay by credit card when you register. A $1.80 card processing fee is added to each online registration.
• On-site registration: Available at the event
• Waiver: All participants must accept the Badger State Games waiver. A parent or guardian must accept for participants under 18.
• Refunds: No refunds are given for failure to participate for any reason or for cancellation of the event due to weather or other acts of God.

Registration for this competition is managed by Rib Mountain Bowmen.

Medals

Gold, silver, and bronze Badger State Games medals will be awarded according to the competition format and approved divisions.

State Games of America qualification

Medalists in eligible divisions may qualify for the State Games of America. Qualification is subject to current national sport, division, and eligibility requirements.
